• Eagle Rose gets advertising
  There is a big push to market the club around Ossett and surrounding districts, starting with the putting up of posters around the streets and in January a leaflet drop to further promote the club will take place.
  Eagle Rose has been open for 15 years in May 2009 and prides itself on being a high quality karate club which is not run as a commercial venture, motivated and driven by the pure love for the Martial Art.
  
• Glenn Harrison passes Shodan - 1st Dan
  Shihan Matt Barlow said "Glenn has trained at Eagle Rose for over 5 years, taking a steady and confident pace to reach his ultimate goal of passing his black belt.  Having watched some of the grading Glenn did the club proud and certainly earned his new grade.  I look forward to welcoming Glenn into the club as an assistant instructor to help teach other students at Eagle Rose"
